| Important information on the correct handling of cutting pads: |
| 1 |
All cutting pads which are not glued to wooden blocks should be turned over at leaset once per day. This ensures that the boards are not bent out of shape due to having a load on one side only and greatly increases their service life. |
| 2 |
Polypropylene is a thermoplastic material. This means that the cutting pads react to heat and cold by expanding or contracting. For this reason we recommend a storage temperature of 20°C. |
| 3 |
When glueing the cutting pads to a wooden block, always make sure that the wooden block is at least 15 mm thicker than the cutting pad. |
| 4 |
When using a combination, i.e. cutting pads glued to a wooden block, in areas subject to strong temperature fluctuations, remember that wood and plastic react to temperature differences. It may be the case that the cutting pad works itself loose from the wooden block. In such case we recommend using a single 50 mm cutting pad which can be punched from both sides. |
| 5 |
Due to the danger of deformation, cutting pads must always be stored lying flat on one another and must not be packed on pallets which are smaller in size than the boards. |
| 6 |
Polypropylene cutting pads can sometimes vary slightly in colour, i.e. they may have slightly different yellow shades, Since polypropylene is a byproduct of oil, it has a yellowish colour. Our raw material suppliers guarantee the colour within a particular tolerance which we, as the supplier, have to accept. |
